Forster Products 308 Winchester Bench Rest Full Length Seater and Sizer Die Set delivers precision reloading performance for serious ammunition builders. This Bench Rest Reloading Dies set provides the reloader with the ability to produce concentric rounds over and over again. The set comprises a Full Length Sizer Die and Benchrest Seater Die in a Forster Plastic Die Box.
The Full Length Sizing Die sizes the case neck, shoulder and body, deprimes and expands the case neck. The Full Length Resizing Die features an E-Z Out expander ball that can be adjusted upward to just below the die neck, giving superior mechanical advantage for the neck expansion stroke. The system includes a Co-Ax washer system to correct any misalignment and prevent the neck from being pulled off center. The innovative, caliber-specific sliding die chamber holds the bullet, case and seating stem in perfect alignment while the bullet is seated, with a non-crimping style that provides accuracy, consistency, and virtually flawless alignment.
Unlike standard die sets, Forster’s Bench Rest dies feature exceptionally tight tolerances and highly polished internal surfaces, facilitating smoother operation and superior case concentricity. Dies are heat treated and oil quenched in atmospherically controlled furnaces to an extremely tough Rockwell hardness and hand polished in a high-speed lathe both before and after heat treating to achieve an extra-fine finish.
