The Daniel Defense MFR XS AR-15 Handguard 9 inch is a lightweight and exceptionally strong M-LOK freefloat rail. Built from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a Mil-Spec type III hard coat anodized finish, this handguard delivers precision engineering for modern AR-15 platforms. A standard AR-15 barrel nut is used in mounting the MFR with a bolt-up system that offers increased strength and reduced overall diameter. Ambidextrous sling swivel attachment points are integrated into both the left and right side rails, and anti-rotation tabs come standard for ease of installation and alignment. The MFR XS can be used with a pinned low-profile gas block on pistol, carbine, mid-length or rifle length gas systems.
