Within every Remington primer is a group of subcomponents assembled to exceptionally tight tolerances, with primer cup dimensions controlled to .0001″ and the priming mix specially formulated for consistent ignition with a wide variety of powder types. Primers are tested for reliability from -20 degrees F to +150 degrees F, featuring a unique tripod anvil design that creates a larger strike area with maximum sensitivity, even with off-center firing pin strikes. Each 9-1/2M Large Rifle Magnum Primer is produced to exacting tolerances with a deviation no larger than .0003 ounces, and all primers are visually inspected and undergo critical ballistic tests.
Remington primers feature exclusive Kleanbore non-corrosive, non-mercuric priming that will not cause rust or corrosion, with manufacture rigidly controlled to produce extreme uniformity. The 9-1/2M designation indicates this primer is designed for magnum rifle cartridges requiring a more robust ignition source. Individual primer pellet weight is controlled to .01 grams, and each lot is 100% visually inspected and subjected to critical ballistic tests. This 1,000-count box contains 10 trays of 100 primers, providing ample inventory for serious reloaders.
