Loctite 603 is a retaining compound tolerant of oil and other contamination. It seals and secures cylindrical assemblies up to 0.005 inches diametral clearance and fixtures in 10 minutes. The compound prevents fretting and corrosion of metal assemblies.
Designed for the bonding of cylindrical fitting parts, especially for sintered bearings and also where consistently clean surfaces cannot be assured, this high-strength formulation is ideal for precision assembly work. Loctite 603 cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces and achieves full strength before subjecting to service loads, which will usually take about 24 hours. Each bottle contains 1.69 fluid ounces of this versatile industrial adhesive.
