The Crosstac Front Sight Picatinny Rail is a machined aluminum rail that locks into place on the bayonet lug beneath the front sight tower on standard AR-15s and provides a sling swivel and useful 8-slot Picatinny rail segment. It readily accepts lights, lasers, bipods and other accessories. This is the only front sight rail to take advantage of the bayonet lug everyone has, but never uses.
Finished in hard anodized matte black and constructed from 6061 aluminum, this 3.5-inch rail quickly and easily installs with no gunsmithing and includes mounting hardware. This Generation 2 Picatinny Rail from Crosstac now features a retooled mount for the included big ring that allows you to quickly and easily mount the ring on either side of the rail.
