The Dead Air XEMAX Muzzle Brake is designed with a 11/16×24 thread pattern and features an inherently concentric design with a self-aligning taper system for consistent bore alignment and repeatability of results. When used alone, the single-port brake design of the Xemax vectors gas outward and upward, minimizing ground dust dispersion and reducing felt recoil.
The brake functions independently while also providing a lightweight suppressor mounting option when paired with the Xeno Adapter. Optimized for use on .45 Caliber (.45-70, .450 Bushmaster) Lever-Action and big-bore MSRs, the Xemax system is perfectly paired with the Nomax 33 Silencer for the ultimate big-bore shooting experience. All Xemax Muzzle Brakes require “timing” and come with the appropriate shims.
