The Dead Air Odessa Piston, 1/2×28 was designed to allow the Odessa-9 to be easily changed for different host firearms. This piston is for the Odessa 9 when used on all tilting-barrel handguns. This piston is ONLY compatible with the Dead Air Odessa-9 suppressor and not Dead Air’s other pistol suppressors.
The Odessa-9 suppressor features 17-4 Stainless steel construction with Black Nitride finish and has a 1.1 inch diameter. The suppressor’s 1.1 inch tube diameter allows factory sights to be used without obstruction, utilizes a modular design, and allows the user to select up to 9 length configurations by adding or removing baffles.
The Odessa-9 is designed for use with 9mm cartridges, but is also compatible with other handgun rounds including .22lr, .22 Mag, .17 HMR, 5.7x28mm, 32 Auto, and 380 Auto. This DD440 piston in 1/2-28 thread pitch provides a critical component for suppressor mounting and interchangeability across compatible host firearms.
