The SAR Arms SAR9 SOCOM is a 9mm striker-fired pistol built around a polymer grip module and forged-steel threaded barrel fitted with a thread-protective cap. The barrel is engineered to accept standard-size suppressors, making it an ideal platform for sound mitigation. Suppressor-height tritium iron sights enable rapid target acquisition in any lighting condition, including low-light and complete darkness shooting.
The slide features an optic-ready cutout with serrated cooling channels that accelerate barrel cooling after sustained rapid fire. An integrated picatinny rail provides mounting capability for tactical accessories. The trigger delivers a smooth, consistent stroke with reliable reset and no takeup hesitation, while a striker position indicator on the ambidextrous trigger clearly shows whether the firing mechanism is cocked.
The pistol is finished in Cerakote ceramic coating for enhanced durability under demanding use. The expanded magwell facilitates faster magazine changes while maintaining sight picture. The SAR9 SOCOM ships with two magazines—one 17-round capacity and one 21-round capacity—plus additional grip plates and backstraps to customize fit for individual shooters.
