XS Sight Systems DXT2 Big Dot Sight for S&W M&P Optics Ready, model SW-0039S-5Y, delivers the best front sight visibility in all lighting conditions. This sight drives focus to the front sight using an industry leading large, high-contrast front and a low profile V-notch rear. The DXT2 Big Dot front sight uses an Ember glow dot that absorbs light and glows in low light levels before it is dark enough to see the tritium, while Optic Yellow is the best option for low light and has the brightest glow intensity.
The large front sight dot measures 0.188 inches, facilitating quick target acquisition. The dot-the-“i” sight picture prevents confusing the front and rear sights in high-stress situations. All XS night sights are CNC machined from steel bar stock, ensuring the sights are protected from drops and racking off barricades, and will hold up for years. The steel surface is blued to resist rusting with regular cleaning and oil. Made in the USA, the sights are designed and made in XS’s Texas factory from start to finish.
