The Chiappa Rhino 30DS Nebula is a .357 Magnum double/single-action revolver with a 3″ low-mount barrel and a 6-round cylinder. The Nebula multi-color PVD finish and blue laminate grips give the revolver its distinctive appearance while fiber optic sights aid target acquisition. The sights consist in a frontsight with fiber optic insert on a ramp pinned to the frame (therefore fixed) and an adjustable backsight, also with fiber optic inserts.
The Rhino fires from the lowermost chamber of the cylinder rather than from the topmost chamber as in conventional revolvers, a distinctive engineering choice that lowers the center of gravity and yields a centerline of the bore that is more in line with a shooter’s arm. The frame of the Rhino is made of Ergal (an aluminium alloy), and the receiver is CNC-machined from a solid block of high-tensile aluminium. Virtually all components are CNC-machined as well; this manufacturing process yields a very precise fit with minimal tolerances. For models other than the 20D, the trigger may be used in either single-action or double-action mode.
Built on an innovative platform that prioritizes shooter control, the Rhino 30DS Nebula combines form and function for those seeking a modern revolver with genuine performance advantages. Whether for sport shooting, range use, or everyday carry where permitted, this Italian-engineered revolver delivers a distinctive shooting experience backed by Chiappa’s precision manufacturing.
