FN 15 Upper Receiver Assemblies are meticulously built in FN’s Columbia South Carolina manufacturing facility alongside US Military contract M4 rifles. The FN15/AR 16″ Carbine Upper Receiver Assembly delivers the reliability and precision demanded by professional operators and shooters alike.
Each upper receiver is supplied with an M16-style Bolt Carrier Assembly with properly staked gas key and Carpenter 158 Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) bolt, charging handle and FN’s venerable cold hammer-forged barrel. FN’s proprietary Chrome Moly Vanadium steel and cold hammer-forging process offer unmatched consistency and durability in every barrel produced. Each barrel and chamber is hard-chrome lined to MIL-STD 171, and barrel extensions have M4-style feed ramps.
This FN 15 16″ Carbine Upper Assembly features a Carbine length gas system and A2 front sight post. The 1-7 twist rate is optimized for reliable performance across a wide range of ammunition weights and velocities. Barrels are individually high pressure tested and Magnetic Particle Inspected and each upper is test fired to ensure optimum function and performance before leaving the factory.
