The Q Boombox Pistol is a compact, high-performance 8.6 Blackout AR-style pistol engineered for versatility, power, and precision. It features a 12-inch barrel with a 1:3 twist rate designed to stabilize both heavy subsonic rounds and fast, hard-hitting supersonic loads. The barrel is constructed from 416R Stainless Steel with a Bead Blasted finish for a non-reflective surface.
Outfitted with an oversized XL Cherry Bomb muzzle device, the Boombox Pistol is fully compatible with Q suppressors including the Porq Chop and Short Chop. It ships with Q’s “Literally The Best Trigger Ever Made” for a crisp, reliable pull. The pistol utilizes specialized collapsible hardware that keeps the overall length incredibly short, with an ambidextrous safety and collapsible stock.
The 8.6 BLK is a cartridge developed in-house at Q, LLC. When equipped with a 350gr projectile, the 8.6 BLK delivers 3 times the energy of a .300 BLK. Despite having the stopping power of a big game rifle, the Boombox is quieter than a .300 BLK when using subsonic rounds, making it ideal for applications where power and sound signature matter equally.
