The Renegade Plus Pistol from POF represents direct impingement AR-15 engineering distilled into a dedicated pistol platform. POF has engineered upgrades that move beyond cosmetic refinement—including a roller cam pin and patented heat sink barrel nut—to address the inherent weak points of direct impingement operation.
The Dictator 9-position adjustable gas block grants precise tuning for different ammunition loads and suppressor configurations. A straight gas tube design minimizes heat accumulation compared to standard tube geometry, while the roller cam pin delivers smooth, reliable upper receiver function. The 10.5 nitride heat-treated barrel pairs with an M-LOK compatible Renegade rail for accessory mounting.
The Renegade Plus Pistol is built on a Gen 4 billet lower receiver with full ambidextrous controls. It ships with a flat 3.5 lb match grade trigger and KNS Precision anti-walk pins. This platform addresses all operational shortcomings inherent to direct impingement pistol design.
