The Byrna Technologies Kinetic 12-Gauge Shotgun Projectiles (10-Pack) are designed to deliver reliable and accurate performance in pump-action shotguns. Once fired, the clamshell splits to reveal a .61-caliber kinetic projectile, fin-stabilized for accuracy out to 100 ft. The Byrna 12-Gauge Kinetic ammunition produces 20 joules of energy (capable of breaking auto glass), an impressive 312 feet per second muzzle velocity with an effective range of 100+ feet.
Strategic placement of parting lines, adaptable wall thickness and sonic welding ensure the projectile’s durability and controlled fragmentation. Lack of gunpowder results in discharges 16 times quieter than conventional shotgun rounds. The Byrna 12 gauge round contains no gunpowder and is powered only by a primer, and the Byrna 12 gauge rounds have almost no perceived recoil.
