The Midwest Industries AK Alpha Series Railed Top Cover Mount is engineered specifically for use with MI AK Alpha Series handguards (MI-AK-ALPHA6 and MI-AK-ALPHA10.0) and is not compatible with other Midwest Industries generations or other manufacturers’ products. Patented components deliver an accurate return to zero solution for existing AK firearms, while an adjustable locking block accommodates most AK platforms. A Midwest Industries recoil spring button is included and designed specifically for AK Alpha Series top cover integration.
Construction combines Hard Coat Anodized 6061 aluminum for the top cover and main stability struts with laser-cut 4140 steel for the steel stability struts. The design employs two aluminum and two steel stability struts for a solid lock up with extremely rigid engagement that prevents dust and dirt from entering the firearm. The mount maintains factory rear sight with lower 1/3 cowitness sight picture and requires no permanent modifications for installation on MI AK Alpha Series handguard or firearm, allowing you to return your firearm to stock form if desired.
