About Mossberg
O.F. Mossberg & Sons has been producing firearms in North Haven, Connecticut since 1919, making them one of the oldest family-owned firearms manufacturers in the United States. Mossberg built their name on shotguns — the Model 500 and 590 series in particular are among the best-selling and most widely recognized pump-action shotguns ever made, trusted by hunters, home defenders, and military and law enforcement agencies for generations. Over a century of continuous American manufacturing and a product line that has stood the test of field and service use makes Mossberg one of the foundational names in the industry.
