The Redding Type-S Competition Bushing Neck Die Set for 243 Winchester (model 58114) includes a Competition Bushing Neck Sizing Die, Body Die, and Competition Seating Die. The Type S Bushing Style Neck Sizing Die lets reloaders take precise control of case neck size and tension through the use of interchangeable sizing bushings offered in .001″ increments. An adjustable decapping rod enables partial neck resizing if needed, and the resizing bushing’s self-centering design improves concentricity.
Both the Bushing Neck Sizing Die and Competition Seating Die are equipped with micrometer adjustments for accuracy. The Competition Seating Die incorporates a bullet guide with a seating stem fit so exact that the seating stem can float on a column of air. The micrometer is calibrated in .001″ increments and features a zero set function that lets you establish your rifle’s preferred seating depth. A standard size button comes with the decapping rod—ideal for reloaders working with commercial brass without modification—and a decapping pin retainer is supplied with most Type S Bushing Dies to allow neck sizing without the size button for those who sort and/or turn case necks for uniformity.
