Lehigh Defense’s Xtreme Defense Fluid Transfer Monolithic (XD FTM) technology is advancing self-defense bullet performance. These bullets are CNC machined from solid copper, featuring radial flutes and sharp edges to overcome barriers and ensure effective fluid transfer. This bullet is optimal for use in .40 S&W Auto and 10mm Auto loads.
The progressive nose geometry allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. The fluid transfer’s radial flutes force hydraulic energy inward and then accelerate it outward, creating high pressure spikes that cause massive tissue damage and cavitation equivalent to the best hollow points on the market. The result is a permanent wound cavity that is two to four times greater than what a flat or round nose bullet generates and often larger than traditional or solid copper expanding bullets.
These solid copper projectiles are able to overcome barriers to penetration, are environmentally friendly and do massive tissue damage on impact. Each box contains 100 bullets with a grain weight of 115 and a caliber diameter of 0.400 inches. Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading and not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.
