Faxon Firearms manufactures this 16″ barrel from 4150 CMV steel with a black nitride finish, featuring an integral A2-style flash hider, mid-length gas system, and 1:8 twist rate for 5.56 NATO. The integrally machined A2 flash hider design permits complete removal of barrel nuts, handguards, and gas blocks, allowing builders full flexibility in reconfiguring their setup.
The 16″ overall length is achieved through a 14.5″ rifled section extended with the integral flash hider to meet non-NFA compliance standards. The Gunner profile delivers a lightweight, balanced contour that enhances handling and barrel harmonics. The mid-length gas system produces a soft recoil impulse and reliable cycling across ammo types. The 4150 CMV steel undergoes stress relief, air-gauge testing, MPI inspection, and black nitride finishing for durability.
