The Superlative Arms AR-15 .625″ Solid Adjustable Piston System SABO-PS-LFD-R625SM is a rifle-length piston conversion kit featuring a solid set-screw gas block with melonited finish. This 30 position adjustable gas “Bleed Off” vents the excess gas forward away from the operator instead of restricting it, and is a Patented Superlative Arms LLC design. The left-hand configuration with full-auto capable dark DLC carrier makes this kit compatible with both standard and enhanced AR-15 builds.
The patented “Bleed Off” gas piston system adjusts the gas flow by bleeding the gas out of the block instead of restricting the flow like conventional adjustable blocks, with pressure reduced only to the amount required to drive the bolt carrier and the remaining gas bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler. The patented adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination. When using SBRs and/or suppressors the bleed off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back.
