AREA 419 developed the ARCALOCK system to advance ARCA rail technology with mechanical locking instead of friction-based attachment. Since its July 2018 release, ARCALOCK has gained significant traction in the precision rifle market. With the growing popularity of rifle weight kits and the introduction of the Manners TCS stock in late 2019, AREA 419 designed and built an ARCALOCK weight system now available to the public. This is the 14.25″ Universal ARCALOCK Rail.
The rail is engineered to fit approximately 98% of Manners PRS1, PRS1 T2A, T2A GAP, T4A, T4A TEAM, and T5A stocks. Hole spacing prints are available to verify compatibility with your specific rifle. The design maintains universal fitment while preserving weight-tuning capability. The kit includes t-nut hardware to add attachment points if factory-installed attachment points do not align with the mounting slots. While this rail can also be attached to MLOK, it does not come with MLOK hardware, which is sold separately.
The bare rail weighs just over 6oz. With all 5 included weights installed, total weight reaches approximately 23.6oz. Each weight weighs 3.5oz. Rails measure .400″ thick—notably thicker than AREA 419’s standard 14″, 12″, and 10″ Universal ARCALOCK rails, which are .270″ thick. The rail features black hardcoat anodizing while the weights remain raw brass.
