This Area 419 scope rail is machined from a single piece of T7075 aluminum on an in-house Haas VF4SS 4 axis machining center. It slides onto the 11mm dovetail of your CZ457 and clamps down with consistent force across the entire rail, holding your optic securely in place. The rail comes Type III black hardcoat anodized and includes the wrench needed to torque the clamp screws.
The Area 419 rail features a 50 MOA cant, designed for shooters taking their 22LR rifles beyond 300+ yards. It is also available in 15 MOA and 30 MOA configurations. The design incorporates extended real estate at the front of the rail, allowing you to position your optic further forward—a practical advantage when using higher powered scopes on smaller rimfire stocks. The rail adds approximately 1/2″ of height to the dovetail compared to set-screw models, but pairing it with lower height rings or mounts will help you maintain proper cheek weld and over bore height.
