The Area 419 CZ457 1913 Improved Scope Rail is machined from a single piece of T7075 aluminum on Area 419’s Haas VF4SS 4 axis machining center. This 11mm dovetail design clamps onto your CZ457 with consistent force across the entire rail, delivering the strength needed to keep your optic firmly mounted.
This particular configuration features a 15MOA cant and comes Type III black hardcoat anodized. The rail includes the necessary wrench for torquing the clamp screws. Area 419 extended the front section of the rail to allow forward optic positioning, which is especially useful with higher powered scopes on the smaller stocks typical of rimfire rifles.
The rail adds approximately 1/2″ of height to the dovetail—slightly taller than set-screw alternatives—but pairing it with lower height rings/mounts lets you maintain proper over bore height and a solid cheek weld without requiring a riser. This design is built for shooters extending their 22LR effective range to 300+ yards.
