The Area 419 419-FN-HEAD-450 is a 450 caliber interchangeable head designed for the Area 419 improved powder funnel system. The head threads onto the funnel and is neck diameter specific for 450 caliber applications, delivering the precision and reliability reloaders require during case preparation. Rather than fitting over the case body, this head is sized slightly larger than the neck diameter to maintain a solid grip on the case.
Machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum billet stock, the head generates no static charge that could cause powder kernels to cling to funnel walls. The bore is sized a few thousandths smaller than bullet diameter to maximize powder flow for the 450 caliber. The interface between head and funnel is engineered to prevent kernels from becoming trapped between components, provided the head is fully tightened.
