Most lock rings on the market are held into place by a set screw or are split/clamp style, and these are inconsistent by design, requiring them to secure themselves to dies for constant removal and replacement in single-stage presses. Area 419 engineered their own solution with a large diameter that provides more surface contact with the turret head, forcing the die straight rather than grabbing onto it and aligning as it may. The rings feature .350″ of thread engagement, which is 15-25% more than common die lock rings.
The 7/8″ Turret-Pack includes nine rings all 7/8×14, and a wrench. The finish on all multi-packs is black nitride, and wrenches are aluminum with a black hardcoat anodize finish. These die rings are available in 7/8×14 thread with a total thickness of .500″ and outside diameter of 1.685″.
