AREA 419 engineered these scope rings with a manufacturing process designed to deliver reliable and true optic capture beyond what typical rings offer. The commitment to precision led to a serialized final-bore matching system with raw aluminum internals that grip your optic with greater dependability and accuracy than standard alternatives.
Like conventional rings, these begin as separate components. AREA 419 manufactures bases and caps in batches, then takes additional steps beyond standard assembly. After anodizing, the parts are fully assembled and placed into specially produced rail fixtures with caps torqued to specification over custom-made spacers—allowing proper clearance for the rings to torque down on the optic. The complete sets then undergo final-boring in AREA 419’s precision machining centers. Once finished, each set is laser-marked with a unique identifier that matches it to its precisely bored counterparts, ensuring every ring set functions as a matched pair engineered for optimal performance.
