Machined in-house on a 4-axis HAAS VMC from 7075 Aluminum, every detail reflects precision manufacturing—all edges are radiused directly off the mill, corners are chamfered, and the slots themselves are radiused along with the lug corners to eliminate snag areas and deliver a refined appearance.
The integral machined recoil lug bears directly against the front receiver ring, preventing any base shift under recoil. All mating areas are 1:1 surface machined to the exact profile of the Remington action for a solid, consistent fit. The MOA angle is guaranteed true to spec thanks to advanced fixturing, and the rail is machined to MIL-STD-1913 standards.
This Full Slotted version is compatible with all Picatinny scope mounts, including Spuhr and MPA models with center-mounted recoil lugs. It accepts both #6 and #8 screws without modification. The ejection port cut blends seamlessly into the action and provides ample room for top-loading ADL style rifles. Finished in Type III Hardcoat Black anodize, the rail ships with (4) 6-48 and (4) 8-40 Torx T10 screws and wrench. All screws are the same length and sized to avoid interference with barrel threads. Torque specifications are 15 in/lb for #6 screws and 20 in/lb for #8 screws.
BERGARA PREMIER FIT INFORMATION: If your serial number prefix is A00000-F00000, you have a round action with a hood over the recoil lug and this rail will not fit. Serial numbers G00000 or higher use the Remington pattern with 8-40 holes and this rail will work.
