Area 419 engineered this Tikka T1X 1913 Improved Scope Rail because existing options failed to meet their standards, so they built their own. The distinction lies in meticulous detailing throughout. Each rail is machined in-house on Area 419’s 4-axis HAAS VMC from 7075 Aluminum. Fresh from the mill, every sharp edge is eliminated—all corners are radiused and any necessary harsh corners are chamfered. Following Area 419’s approach with their other Picatinny products, the rail features radiused corners between the slots and radiused lug corners to eliminate snag points and deliver a refined appearance.
Like their 700 rails, all fasteners are T10 Torx and uniform in length, eliminating confusion during installation. The 30 MOA angle is guaranteed true to specification through advanced fixturing. The rail is machined to MIL-STD-1913 and finished in Type III Hardcoat Black anodization. A T10 Torx key is included, and fasteners should be torqued to 15 in/lb.
