The Rock series represents Rock Island Armory’s most fully-equipped line of 1911 pistols, engineered in the traditional 70 series design and enhanced with premium upgrades. All Rock Island 1911s are manufactured using 4140 ordnance steel on precision CNC machines, then hand-fitted and tested to exacting tolerances to ensure uncompromising quality and value. The Rock Ultra CS Lightweight features a 3.62″ button rifled barrel paired with a full length guide rod. It comes equipped with a dovetail fiber optic front sight and LPA MPS1 type adjustable rear sight, along with a skeletonized hammer and trigger featuring an adjustable over travel stop and ambidextrous safety—both standard to the Rock series. The Rock Ultra CS-L is treated with a durable parkerized finish and fitted with battle ready G10 tactical grips. Consistent with all Rock Island 1911s, the Rock Ultra ships with a crisp factory 4- to 6-pound trigger, delivering an excellent shooting experience straight from the box.
