The Athlon Rangecraft Velocity Pro is built for hunters, shooters, and archers who want simple and reliable velocity readings. Using Doppler radar, it eliminates the need to mount the Rangecraft to your weapon. This remote operation won’t change your zero or disrupt barrel harmonics, and it reliably captures shots from suppressed rifles and firearms equipped with muzzle brakes, compensators, and other muzzle devices.
The unit includes a compact 2.4-inch display and a rugged, waterproof design suitable for range or field use. With a measurement range of 65 to 5,000 fps, it’s built to handle everything from low-velocity projectiles to high-speed rifle rounds. The easy-to-read 2.4″ LCD screen features large font sizes and a bright backlight display that work in any lighting condition. At 4.7 ounces, this chronograph will not weight you down.
An intuitive button layout features an option button to cycle through various data points such as average, minimum, and maximum velocities, standard deviation, extreme spread, kinetic energy, and power factor. Manage every range trip and take notes on recorded shots through the Athlon Ballistics Lite app. The claimed battery life is 6 hours on a charge, and you can power the device with an external USB-C battery pack.
