Barnes LRX .338 Lapua Magnum ammunition delivers 280 grain bullets engineered with a Long Range X Boat Tail design. The all-copper construction features a copper core, copper jacket, and polymer tip, achieving a ballistic coefficient of 0.667 and measuring 1.864″ in length.
The bullet’s design opens on impact into four razor-sharp petals that plow a wide wound channel and deposit massive amounts of energy throughout the entire length of the cavity. High weight retention sustains bullet momentum for maximum destruction of tissue, bone and vital organs effectively and humanely at close and extreme distances. Doppler radar technology was utilized in the development process to optimize the bullet’s profile for low drag and top accuracy at extreme distances.
Each box contains 50 bullets with a 0.338″ diameter and 0.35 sectional density. A 1:10″ or faster twist rate is recommended. Ideal for precision reloaders building long-range hunting loads for maximum downrange performance and reliability.
