The Bravo Company BCM QRF-8 (Quad Rail Free Float Handguard) for 5.56 NATO in 8 inch length features the same industry-leading barrel nut and lock up design originally introduced on BCM’s KMR handguard. The QRF Series delivers modularity through the Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) platform, with T, L, R, and B recoil slot markings on all four rails to support repeatable setup. This proprietary patented mounting system (US Patent 8904691) includes a mechanical index to the 12:00 rail and positions mounting hardware to counteract movement caused by weapon system heat. The free float quad rail removes loads from the barrel, reducing deflection for improved accuracy. Its proprietary engineered profile delivers additional cross sectional strength. The black handguard ships with 4 QD Sing Swivel Sockets (limited rotation).
