The Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2 is a semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun engineered for tactical and defensive applications, designed with input from professional users. A cold hammer-forged back-bored 18.5 inch barrel and Beretta BLINK gas system with cross tube gas piston produce fast, consistent cycling and reduced recoil impulse for quicker follow-up shots. Capacity is 7 rounds with 2.75″ shells, 6 rounds with 3″ shells, and the shotgun features Ghost Ring sights with Picatinny rail and crossbolt safety.
The shotgun features an 18.5-inch barrel, a 3-inch chamber, and a factory-installed 7-round magazine, plus aggressive forend texturing with three M-LOK accessory slots. Enlarged controls include an oversized charging handle, large textured bolt release, and an oversized reversible safety to simplify manipulation under stress or while wearing gloves. It comes equipped with a black synthetic stock that’s rugged, lightweight, and fitted with a kick-absorbing recoil pad.
Beretta’s rapid BLINK gas operating system with a cross tube gas piston enables cycling speeds 36% faster than competitors. The shotgun is equipped with an oversized, reversible crossbolt safety and a semi-flat tactical trigger for improved control, and includes the enhanced Pro-Lifter system for faster, more comfortable reloads.
