The Beretta 92XI Combat series presents the 92XI Single-Action Only (SAO) pistol, built on the proven 92 platform with significant upgrades. A frame-mounted ambidextrous safety lever sits within natural reach, complementing the SAO trigger design and ergonomic refinements throughout. The trigger system combines an X-treme-S single action only mechanism with a flat-faced trigger, performance DLC coated components, and a lightweight skeletonized hammer that delivers a crisp pull while enabling cocked-and-locked carry.
The 92XI maintains the Vertec-style frame and adds a fiber optic front sight for rapid target acquisition. An MRDS optics mounting option is available, positioning this pistol as a capable platform for both personal defense and competition use. Each pistol receives hand painting by Howe Arms, a veteran-owned company, making every example unique with its own individual footprint. Chocolate chip is a nickname for the six-color desert camouflage pattern developed by the U.S. in 1971, used initially in the Sinai and most notably during Operation Desert Shield/Storm and in Somalia.
