Bergara designed the B-14 rifle line to deliver the quality found in their custom rifles while making that standard available to production hunting rifles accessible to serious big-game hunters. The B-14 Series combines Bergara Barrel accuracy with an affordable hunting platform. All B-14 rifles are capable of producing sub-1.0 MOA groups or less at 100 yards using factory match grade ammunition.
The B-14 Timber model features a Monte Carlo style walnut stock with a raised comb and cheek piece. The stock uses integral pillar bedding for stability and enhanced accuracy. This rifle is fitted with a #3 Bergara 4140 CrMo steel barrel finished in black cerakote. The action is Bergara’s own super-smooth B-14 system, built on a two-lug design with a Sako-style extractor, coned bolt nose, and coned breech to ensure smooth feeding and extraction. A Bergara curved trigger is factory-set to approximately three pounds and delivers a crisp, clean break.
The rifle comes factory drilled and tapped to accept Remington 700-style rings and bases. This left-hand short action model is chambered in 243 Winchester with a 22″ barrel, hinged floorplate, and 4-round capacity.
