Bergara built the B-14 Timber to deliver custom rifle quality in a production hunting rifle designed for serious big-game hunters. The B-14 Series combines Bergara Barrel accuracy with affordability, and all B-14 rifles are capable of producing sub-1.0 MOA groups or less at 100 yards using factory match grade ammunition.
The Timber model features a Monte Carlo style walnut stock with a raised comb and cheek piece. The stock is bedded with integral pillars for stability and enhanced accuracy. The rifle is built around a #3 Bergara 4140 CrMo steel barrel finished in Black Cerakote, paired with Bergara’s super-smooth B-14 Action. This two-lug system incorporates a Sako-style extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech to ensure smooth feeding and extraction.
The Bergara curved trigger is designed to deliver a crisp, clean pull and comes set at about three pounds. The rifle is factory drilled and tapped to fit Remington 700-style rings and bases. In 308 Winchester, this short action model features a 20″ barrel, hinged floor-plate, and a 4-round capacity.
