Bergara Premier Highlander 308 Winchester 20 Inch Bolt Action Rifle

The Bergara Premier Highlander features the Bergara Premier Action, a two-lug system with a separate floating bolt head that maintains consistent contact with the lug abutments. The action incorporates a cone-shaped bolt nose for reliable cartridge feeding and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor positioned at the front of the lower locking lug. The one-piece bolt body is constructed from stainless steel with a rear pad designed to accept the threaded-in bolt handle. The bolt head, non-rotating gas shield, bolt handle, and bolt shroud are all Nitrided for durability and self-lubricating properties. A two-position safety is integrated into the trigger assembly, which uses TriggerTech Frictionless Release Technology. This design allows the bolt handle to remain unlocked in the closed position, enabling the rifle to be unloaded while the safety is engaged.
