This model features an active retention mechanism that locks onto a proprietary rail attachment device rather than the handgun frame itself. The instinctive thumb release disengages the locking mechanism from the rail attachment device during the draw. Fits most semi-autos equipped with SureFire X300/X300U-A lights.
