While 2-point slings work well in most situations, deploying from a vehicle or operating in complex structures often demands the advantages of a 1-point setup. Blue Force Gear’s Vickers 221 Sling combines a new polymer Burnsed Socket with the patented RED Swivel, enabling instant conversion from 2-point to 1-point configuration by pulling the RED Swivel knob and reinserting it into the Burnsed Socket at the rear of the receiver. The sling maintains instantaneous adjustability in both 1-point and 2-point modes.
Built on the proven design of the Vickers Combat Applications Sling(TM), the 221(TM) features a RED(TM) Swivel sewn to the front of the sling toward the muzzle. A standard push button swivel and molded Burnsed Socket are woven to the rear, providing full adjustability for use with or without body armor. The sling fits any weapon with two QD sling swivel sockets positioned with the rear socket toward the end of the receiver. For SCARs, Sigs, HKs, or other weapon systems with eyelets at the rear of the receiver, a Universal Wire Loop with Push Button Socket can be added in place of the included push button socket.
