Two-point slings work well in most scenarios, but situations like vehicle deployment or close-quarters work inside structures often call for the advantages of a 1-point configuration. Blue Force Gear’s Vickers 221 Sling solves this by combining a new polymer Burnsed Socket with the patented RED Swivel, enabling instant switching between 2-point and 1-point modes—simply pull the RED Swivel knob and reinsert it into the Burnsed Socket at the rear of the receiver. The sling maintains its instantaneous adjustability in both 1-point and 2-point modes.
Designed along the same lines as the world-standard Vickers Combat Applications Sling(TM), this sling features a RED(TM) Swivel sewn to the front toward the muzzle. A standard push button swivel and the new molded Burnsed Socket are woven to the rear, offering complete adjustability for use with or without body armor. The 221(TM) Sling fits any weapon equipped with two QD sling swivel sockets, with the rear socket positioned toward the end of the receiver. For SCARs, Sigs, HKs, or other weapon systems with eyelets at the rear of the receiver, a Universal Wire Loop with Push Button Socket can be substituted for the included push button socket.
