Blue Force Gear’s Vickers 221 Sling enables instant switching between 2-point and 1-point configuration. The sling is built from Invista solution dyed Cordura webbing with ITW GhilleTex Acetal hardware. A standard push button swivel and polymer molded Burnsed Socket are woven into the sling, providing full adjustability. It works with any weapon equipped with two QD sling swivel sockets, with the rear socket positioned toward the end of the receiver.
The RED (Rapid Emergency Detachment) Swivel is sewn to the front of the sling at the muzzle end. It is machined from steel with phosphate coating for corrosion resistance, stainless steel internals, and a sphero-conical shaped pull knob. To transition from 2-point to 1-point, pull the RED swivel knob and reinsert it into the Burnsed socket at the rear of the receiver.
