The Bond Arms Roughneck .45 ACP is a compact derringer built on a stainless steel frame and barrels, featuring a 2.5″ stainless steel barrel, 2-round capacity, and an overall length of 4.5 inches. It weighs 19 ounces and is equipped with Bond Arms’ patented rebounding hammer with retracting firing pins, fixed blade front and rear sights, and a cross-bolt safety.
The finish is bead-blasted to eliminate sharp edges while requiring minimal cleanup. The Roughneck uses the same grade of stainless steel as Bond Arms’ current production models and features a spring-loaded locking lever for one-hand operation when opening and closing the derringer. The design is compatible with standard Bond Arms barrels, allowing you to swap calibers as needed.
The Roughneck does not include extractors, as they are unnecessary for rimless cartridges like .45 ACP. A small cutout at the breech end of the barrels provides a means for manual extraction of fired rounds. Built in Granbury, Texas with U.S.-manufactured parts, this derringer combines time-tested reliability with modern engineering for self-defense as a primary or backup weapon.
