The Bond Arms Stinger chambered in .22 Long Rifle offers a 2-round capacity in a derringer built with Bond Arms’ quality standards while weighing just 12oz—half the weight of their regular double-barrel handguns. The slim .88″ profile with thin nylon grips makes this single-action platform exceptionally compact. Construction includes a stainless steel 3″ matte barrel, 7075 anodized aluminum frame, rebounding hammer, retracting firing pins, and cross-bolt safety. The BASL model ships with standard rubber grips plus a slimmer set of polymer grips for flexible carry options.
The Stinger’s compact design and narrow profile make it well-suited as a pocket pistol or backup weapon, fitting easily into clothing and small bags. Operation centers on a break-action mechanism: a release lever opens the barrels to expose both chambers for manual cartridge insertion, then the barrels snap closed. The hammer is manually cocked to single-action position before aiming and pressing the trigger; the hammer must be re-cocked between shots.
The stainless steel barrel and aluminum frame resist corrosion, with light oil application after cleaning helping to protect all metal surfaces. The .22 LR caliber produces minimal recoil and delivers a comfortable, controllable shooting experience. The Stinger represents Bond Arms’ precision manufacturing combined with practical utility for personal protection and general use.
