The Bond Arms Texan is a reliable .45 Long Colt/.410-3″ derringer pistol with a 6″ stainless steel double-barrel. It features front blade fixed rear sights, an automatic spent casing extractor, patented rebounding hammer, retracting firing pins, and a cross-bolt safety. The 6″ double-barrel is chambered to handle up to 3″ .410 shot shells and .45 Colt.
An extended rosewood grip features an outline of the state of Texas with a star as well as snakes criss-crossing at the bottom. A spring loaded cammed locking lever gives you a tighter barrel to frame fit and when combined with the auto-extractor, facilitates faster loading or unloading of the firearm.
Bond Arms is one of a few manufacturers that still crafts its firearms exclusively in the United States, using all American made parts for all of their handguns, and even their grips and holsters are made in the U.S.A. The Texan accepts all of the Bond Arms optional interchangeable barrels allowing you to change calibers while using the same frame.
