The Bravo Company Manufacturing A/T Optic Riser 525-13 measures approximately 5-3/4 inches in length and spans the full extent of an upper receiver. It features 13 recoil slots with 14 lugs, providing one additional recoil slot compared to the upper receiver itself. This design accommodates any combination of sights, NVG, or thermal optics that would mount to an upper receiver, with the extra slot delivering spacing flexibility for users layering magnifiers and enhancement systems alongside red dot optics.
The riser is engineered for close combat ranges and raises the centerline of mounted optics and magnifiers by approximately 1/2 inch. This height advantage enhances situational awareness and enables more precise aimed shots when using optics in conjunction with night vision or other PPE systems. The A/T interface—the same low-profile system used in BCM Optic Mounts—minimizes snag hazards while making the entire rail length available for bolt-on or QD attachments. The low-profile design also permits mounting accessories with Mil-Std 1913 attachments anywhere along the riser platform, allowing fine-tuning of optic, magnifier, and accessory placement.
Each riser is machined from aircraft aluminum alloy and hard coat anodized per Mil-A-8625F. The steel alloy clamp is hardened with Nitride coating. Multiple integral recoil lugs mitigate recoil and counter-recoil forces to preserve zero. The A/T (Angled Torque) mounting system employs a patented clamp that applies angled torque and triangulating force for a stronger, more reliable lock on the user’s rail.
