The Browning 1911-22 is built to approximately 85% of the scale of John M. Browning’s original 45 ACP Model 1911 pistol, delivering authentic 1911 ergonomics in a compact, rimfire package. This compact 1911-style .22 LR pistol features a matte black composite frame and aluminum subframe, 3.58″ barrel, maple medallion grips, 10-round magazine, and steel 3-dot sights. The pistol pairs familiar 1911-style controls—including a commander hammer, beavertail grip safety and extended slide release—with modern materials for lightweight handling and reliability.
The grip is finished with maple medallion wood with intricate checkering and a gold Buckmark inlay, combining functional design with classic aesthetics. It feeds from 10-round steel magazines, uses a machined aluminum alloy slide, and includes a magazine-disconnect safety that prevents firing with the magazine removed. Its compact dimensions and modest recoil make it well suited for training, target work, and recreational range shooting. the Browning 1911-22 Medium Maple delivers proven performance in a proportionally scaled design.
