The Browning Maxus II Stalker features a subdued matte black finish that resists glare, making it equally at home on the range or in the field pursuing waterfowl. Built around a 12 gauge chamber with 3.5 inch capacity and a 28 inch barrel, this gas-operated autoloader combines the reliability that has defined Browning’s reputation in hunting with modern performance enhancements. The Power Drive Gas System is calibrated to cycle reliably across the full spectrum of ammunition loads while managing recoil effectively.
The steel barrel is chrome-lined and wears a HiViz Tri-Comp fiber-optic front sight paired with an ivory mid-bead. This shotgun incorporates the Lightning Trigger, delivering the fastest lock time available in an autoloading shotgun design. Recoil management comes from a SoftFlex cheek piece and a 1-1/2″ thick Inflex II Recoil Pad that work together to absorb punishment from heavy magnum loads. The stock and forearm are fitted with overmolded rubber panels to ensure consistent grip in wet or variable conditions.
Internal components—the Nickel PTFE-coated bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, bolt release, and bolt handle—benefit from this coating’s natural lubricity and corrosion resistance for extended service life. The package includes a durable ABS-molded hard case and 3 Invector-Plus choke tubes in F, M, and IC constrictions. Built for versatility and field-proven reliability, the Maxus II Stalker performs across hunting, sporting clays, and general shooting disciplines.
