The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite in 7mm PRC with a 24-inch barrel delivers performance across hunting, mountain, and range applications. Like all X-Bolt 2 rifles, this model features a receiver design with additional bolt guidance surface for smooth, fast cycling. The bolt incorporates weight-saving spiral fluting and a new handle knob. A light, sporter contour barrel balances accuracy with weight savings. The muzzle is threaded M13x0.75 and includes a radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap; you can also install an optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake for additional recoil reduction. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated to ensure consistent accuracy. The DLX Trigger uses a three-lever design with zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance, factory preset at 3.5 pounds and adjustable down to 3.0 pounds. The Vari-Tech stock stands out as a configurable design that lets you adjust comb height to align your eye with your optics. Length of pull adjusts internally with spacers for a solid, rattle-free feel. Grip angle can be changed by switching between sporter and vertical grip modules. Rubber overmolding on gripping surfaces provides security in all conditions. The Inflex recoil pad measures 1-1/4″ thick and enhances shooting comfort when firing magnum rounds.
