The Caldwell XLA Pivot Bipod provides stable shooting support that conveniently attaches to almost any firearm with a sling swivel stud, with lightweight aluminum construction that deploys quickly and legs that instantly spring out to the shooting position with the touch of a button. The legs feature notches for easy indexing to a specific height, a connection point for sling attachment, and soft rubber feet that provide enhanced stability, while a padded bipod base protects the firearm’s forend.
The pivoting design allows shooters to compensate for uneven ground by up to 20 degrees, as the lower portion of the bipod pivots independently from the upper stock mount to quickly level the firearm. A tension knob can be adjusted to control the resistance of the pivoting motion. Multi-section legs collapse forward for convenient carry of the firearm.
