Rim Country MFG manufactures each barrel from Hammer Forged 410 series stainless steel, heat treated and finished inside and out with a nitride process for enhanced service life. This threaded barrel is designed as a drop-in replacement for the Canik METE SFX 9mm pistol and serves equally well as a spare barrel or as a foundation for adding muzzle devices such as sound suppressors.
The barrel features a tactical threaded design with 1/2 X 28 US threading—the common thread pitch that accommodates most suppressors without requiring an adapter. The traditional button rifled bore with land and groove rifling handles both jacketed and non-jacketed ammunition, while the 1:10 right hand twist maintains reliability. A micro polished feed ramp and machining to exact tolerances ensure proper fitment and function.
Specifications include a 5.8″ overall length and 100% U.S.A. manufacturing. This barrel fits only the METE SFX 9mm model and will not fit the TP9SA, TP9SF, or TP9V2. Due to the tight tolerances of RCM barrels and large variations in Canik slides, fitting may be required. If you experience difficulty with the slide during assembly, try pressing down on the takedown tabs when racking the slide back on, then rack the slide a few times to loosen it up.
